(FM Bharat):-- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the war is not over yet. The Israeli army has taken control of key areas that Hezbollah used to threaten Israel.
The US and Iran have signed an MoU to reduce the tension that has been going on for the past few months. The MoU is scheduled to be signed in Geneva next Friday. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not seem to be in the mood to back down.
"We have saved Israel from destruction, but our war is not over yet. Deal or no deal, Iran will not have nuclear weapons. We will continue to take steps to thwart threats in the region," Netanyahu said.
"Sometimes Trump and I don't see eye to eye. Trump and I are partners. We often agree with each other, and sometimes we disagree. We will do everything we can to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons," he added.
Netanyahu said on Monday that Israel's campaign against Iran and its allies was not over. After the US-Iran deal was announced, Netanyahu said that the threat of nuclear annihilation had been averted by joint military operations between the US and Israel. However, he warned that many challenges remained.
Regarding Lebanon, he said, "We will remain in the buffer zone as long as necessary. We will maintain our freedom to prevent attacks." He told reporters that our war is not over yet. Israeli forces have taken control of key areas that Hezbollah previously used to threaten Israel. "We will remain in these security zones at all costs. We will continue to operate against Iran's nuclear program despite this agreement. Preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons is a key objective of Israel."
"I was not wrong, and we have clearly set our goal, which is to eliminate the nuclear threat that looms over Israel," Netanyahu said. In the statement, Netanyahu reiterated that Israel's priority is to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, regardless of a new agreement between the United States and Iran.
