CBI files chargesheet against 13 accused in NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case

According to the chargesheet, the accused have been indicted under Sections 315(5), 318(4), 61(2), 238 and 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. They have also been charged under Sections 13(2) and 13(1)(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, besides Sections 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11 of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.

Twisha Sharma death case: CBI court extends judicial custody of Giribala and Samarth Singh till Aug 11

Advocate Shubhang Dixit, representing Twisha Sharma's family, told IANS that the court accepted the CBI's plea for extension of judicial custody after the agency told it that the investigation was still in progress. During the court hearing, the accused contested the CBI's allegation that they had not cooperated in providing their voice samples.
