Heavy rain: Kozhikode, Wayanad declare holiday for educational institutions on Wednesday
In Kozhikode, the District Collector announced a holiday for all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, professional colleges, tuition centres, madrasas and anganwadis. The administration said the decision was taken after the IMD forecast heavy rain over the coming days and following reports of flooding in several low-lying areas.
