HM Amit Shah launches 3-year Vision Document for Narcotics Control
Mr. Shah made these remarks while addressing the 10th Apex-Level Meeting of the Narco-Coordination Centre (NCORD) in New Delhi. He said that between 2004 and 2014, authorities seized around 2.6 million kilograms of synthetic drugs. In comparison, between 2014 and 2026, the quantity of synthetic drugs seized increased to 11.8 million kilograms. He said the figures show that the government’s campaign against drug trafficking is making steady progress.
