At least 8 people lost their lives, including 21 passengers injured on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan's Dausa district.There were 37 passengers on board.
According to reports, a sleeper bus carrying pilgrims from Haridwar was travelling to Indore at high speed.The bus caught fire after colliding with a truck on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway.
The vehicle first collided with a trailer (a large truck), and then both vehicles caught fire.
Visuals showed the vehicles in huge flames as passengers screamed for help. According to officials, passengers from the upper berths were thrown to the ground. While five passengers died from burn injuries, two died from head injuries, they said
