Mumbai, Aug 23 (IANS) Bollywood actress Mouni Roy offered prayers at the revered Kashi Vishwanath temple during the holy month of Sawan.
The 'Naagin' actress took to the Stories section of her official Instagram handle on Sunday and uploaded a couple of short videos, providing a glimpse of her religious visit.
In the primary clip, Mouni was seen exploring the streets of Varanasi in a rickshaw with her friend.
She was seen expressing her joy at enjoying the beautiful darshan of Kashi Vishwanath. Mouni added that although she had a great time, she feared that she might miss her flight.
However, in her later posts, the 'Brahmastra' actress revealed that she made it to her flight in time. Mouni was seen sitting in the aircraft, flaunting her infectious smile.
"Made it!!!! Har Har Mahadev (sic)," read the text on the post.
Mouni was seen looking extremely graceful in ethnic attire, along with light makeup and golden jhumkas. We could also see the chandan tilak associated with Lord Shiva on her forehead.
Mouni likes to stay on top of her social media game, keeping the netizens hooked with her gripping updates.
Earlier this month, the 'Gold' actress flaunted her love for her Bengali heritage in an elegant traditional look.
In the clip uploaded by Mouni on her official handle, she was seen showing her graceful dance moves. Her desi ensemble was accessorized with a pair of long earrings and a maang tikka. Enhancing the look further, Mouni was seen with subtle makeup.
“Bengali belle,” Mouni simply captioned the post.
For the background score, she chose the timeless Rabindra Sangeet "O Je Mane Na Mana," written by Rabindranath Tagore.
Work-wise, Mouni will be seen playing a crucial role in the untitled project directed by filmmaker Suresh Krissna.
The producer of the drama, Prerna Arora, shared, “Suresh sir has been one of my all-time favourite filmmakers. The moment he narrated the vision, I instantly knew I wanted to back this film. It’s a very young love story with a relatable narrative set in the age of social media, and I truly believe audiences will connect with it.”
